If you want to take summer school, you must register by May 25th.
Summer School facts:
- Dates: Summer School runs from June 14 - July 18 (no school on July 4th)
- Assignments: All of your assignments will be ONLINE. There are 15-25 hours of assignments to complete each week, and you will complete them at your own pace.
- Tests: All of your tests must be completed IN-PERSON! Capistrano Valley High School will be open 8:30-1:30, Monday-Thursday.
- Due Date: Everything must be completed by noon on July 18, 2023
Summer School Options:
- Summer Health OnlineThis is offered to any student who wishes to have two electives during their 9th grade year. For the majority of the students, choosing to take summer Health is due to having an impacted schedule (ex: foreign language with Music or Drama class).
- GeometryIn order to qualify for Geometry, a student must have successfully completed Algebra 1. Geometry is two sessions for Geometry A (first semester) and B (second semester). Successful completion means the student earned [at least a 3.0 GPA and 75% on the final exam] --OR-- [at least a 2.75 GPA and 85% on the final exam].
