If you want to take summer school, you must register by May 25th.
 
QUICK FACTS
  • Dates: Summer School runs from June 15 - July 1
  • The courses are self-paced, so students can complete the work around their summer schedule
  • Due Date: Everything must be completed by 1:00pm on July 15, 2026
  • You must choose 1 course (you cannot take both)
 
COURSE OPTIONS
Health
  • Why Health? you can select a 2nd elective to take during 9th grade (example: foreign language + band)
  • Prerequisite: must have finished 8th grade before enrolling
  • Credits Earned: 5
  • Assignments: all online; complete 1 semester of work in 5 weeks
  • Tests: all online
Geometry
  • Why Geometry?
  • Prerequisite: must have completed Algebra 1 in 8th grade
  • Credits Earned: 10
  • Assignments: all online; complete an entire year of work in 5 weeks
  • Tests: must take in-person at Capistrano Valley High School
  • Summer Geometry is a large undertaking for students. Please carefully consider whether this is the right choice for your child.
